Ronda Rousey Fears Another Beating In A Holly Holm Fight? Backing Out Of Rematch?

It's been almost a month since Holly Holm knocked out Ronda Rousey on the Ultimate Fighting Championship or UFC and fans can't wait to see them in the ring again.

Rumors abound though that it may not be happening soon as Rowdy fighter was scared to face The Preacher's Daughter again.

According to an item on Celeb Dirty Laundry, Rousey apparently was thinking twice about squaring off Holm again for fears that she'll suffer the same beating she got when they fought in Melbourne in November. The report even said that it might take the Rowdy fighter about six months to recover from the blows she suffered from last month's fight.

In an interview with ESPN that was published just last Tuesday, Ronda Rousey admitted that she's still struggling after the fight with Holly Holm.

"It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact," the Rowdy fighter pointed out.

As opposed to her rumored fears though, Rousey admitted in the ESPN interview that she's raring for a rematch with The Preacher's Daughter. She doesn't even mind getting a lot of beating again.

"I need to come back," she said. "I need to beat this chick. Who knows if I'm going to pop my teeth out or break my jaw or rip my lip open. I have to f--king do it."

In an interview with TMZ, the Rowdy fighter even said a July 9 rematch next year sounded good.

"It's what I want," she said. "It's up to the UFC, and it's up to her camp. So, we'll see what happens."

But while Ronda Rousey was raring to go at it again, Holly Holm's camp was hesitant.

"I'm not sure Ronda will be ready for a July fight," Holm's manager Lenny Fresquez told the LA Times. "She took a severe beating and I don't think it's in her best interest to take the next fight so fast. They told me she's been ready and cleared, but..."
