iOS users are still wondering when an iOS 9.2 Jailbreak download tool would come out after a few developers have already been working on previous versions of the hack.
According to a report by Latin Post, the jailbreak team of Pangu is working extra hard to work on an iOS 9.2 jailbreak download, citing how the newer version is way better than the older one.
As stated by the report, bug fixes on Safari and other minor fixes have been revealed but Pangu has only been working on finding exploits and vulnerabilities in the latest operating system.
For now, Pangu has provided jailbreak downloads for iOS 9.0.1 using their own system. Together with another developmental team, TaiG, Jailbreak downloads are available for users who has the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, iPads, iPad Minis and new iPods even.
Although there are no iOS 9.2 jailbreak downloads for now, the site of Pangu revealed that they are offering their services for free but accepts donation in the process.
"iOS 9.0.1 users can install the Cydia app for Semi jailbroken devices, Currently developers have limited the installations of the Cydia, You must consider a donation to the developers before installing Cydia," their website stated. "But users can get very limited functions from this Cydia app if they have donated money."
Furthermore, they also talked about jumping from the first iOS 9 to the iOS 9.0.1 update, while they wait for the iOS 9.2 jailbreak download to happen.
"There were some rare issues with iOS 9," it said. "The biggest issue was device first time setup problem. Apple fixed this issue with iOS 9.0.1 update. They have also fixed some issues of Alarms, timers, Safari and APN setup issues with this update. However, Apple doesn't care about security vulnerables of the iOS 9.0.1. Therefore, Jailbreak will be the same for iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0. Semi jailbreak is also compatible with iOS 9.0.1 as iOS 9.0"
