The battle of the smartphones continue as consumers contemplate about the Xiaomi Mi5 and Samsung Galaxy S6, as to which of the two phones is better basing it on the specs and features of the gadgets.
Although the Xiaomi Mi5 hasn't been released, speculations and expectations rise, noting how the Chinese made phone could easily dethrone the Korean made Samsung Galaxy S6.
In a report by Uber Gizmo, the proposed and confirmed specs and features of the Mi5 has been posted alongside the S6 to see which of the two is better.
Starting off with the display, the Xiaomi has an IPS LCD, touchscreen that carries a 2560x1440 resolution encased in a 5.3-inch screen.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy gadget has a Super AMOLED multi-touch screen that has a 2560x1440 resolution, placed on a 5.1-inch frame that is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
For the inside, the Xiaomi Mi5 has a Snapdragon 820, quad-core, 2.2 GHz processor that runs on Android 5.1.1, and the Samsung Galaxsy S6 has a Exynos 7420, octa-core, quad-core 1.5 & quad-core 2.1 GHz processor that initially ran on Android 5.0.
For the battery capacity, the upcoming gadget has a battery capacity of 3030 mAh while the older phone has 2550 mAh of life that could provide 17 hours of talk time. It has a fast battery charging feature and is compatible with wireless charging.
Phone camera has been one of the most sought after features in a smartphone and the battle between the two gadgets continue with their cameras.
For the Chinese made phone, it has a 16-megapixel sensor that captures up to 1080p/60fps and 2160p/30fps for resolution with a max photo size of 5312x2988, an LED flash, HDR photos and videos, face and smile detection and geo tagging.
Meanwhile, the Korean-branded phone also has a 16-megapixel sensor that could capture up to 1080p/60fps, 2160p/30fps, 720p/120fps of resolution, a maximum photo size of 4992x3744, packed with image stabilization, an LED flash, HDR photos and videos, Phase detection AF, dual shot, Simul-shot, face detection, smile detection and geo tagging.
