'Captain America: Civil War': Chadwick Boseman Talks Black Panther's Armor And Fighting Steve Rogers

"Captain America: Civil War's" Chadwick Boseman a.k.a. Black Panther discusses his character's armor and fighting Steve Rogers.

Boseman spoke with Entertainment Weekly Radio Sirius XM 105 about his role in the upcoming film. While the actor did not share any solid details about the fight scenes in the film, the 39-year-old actor did his best to explain who would win a fight between Black Panther and Steve Rogers.

"If you're talking to [Floyd] Mayweather or [Manny] Pacquiao, before Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, then Mayweather is going to say he'll win," he explained. "And if you're talking to Canelo [Alvarez], before the [Miguel] Cotto fight, Canelo's gonna say he's gonna win."

Boseman touched on Black Panther's armor in "Captain America: Civil War," which in the comic books is made from Vibranium - the powerful metal which Captain America's shield is made of. "There's a lot of comfort in the shoes," he shared, although the rest of the suit makes him feel claustrophobic.

Many are looking forward to Black Panther's debut in "Captain America: Civil War," although his role in the film is still under wraps - many speculate that the African prince of Wakanda will come between the brewing conflict between Captain America and Iron Man.

Even Anthony Mackie, Boseman's co-star in the upcoming film, is excited about his debut as Black Panther.

"I've known Chad for a long time. I was very happy when I heard he got cast as Black Panther, because I knew he'd do the work to bring that character to life," Mackie said in an interview with CBR. "It's not so much about two black actors being in a movie at the same time. It's more so about the right black actor getting that role to do the work to make it timeless, and Chadwick is that guy."

"Captain America: Civil War" releases on May 6, 2016.
