Carmelo Anthony Uses No-Trade Clause? Wants To Stay With Knicks And Kristaps Porzingis

As the New York Knicks continue its rebuild, the team's star Carmelo Anthony is staying put and would like to develop the team with rookie Kristaps Porzingis.

According to Yahoo! Sports, New York Knicks top pick in the 2015 NBA draft Kristaps Porzingis has enjoyed being in the pressure-packed city of New York. After being booed when drafted, Knicks fans have been very passionate in displaying their love for the prized rookie.

"The first day I got drafted, I felt the fans were really passionate about basketball and there was going to be a lot of pressure," the rookie said. "I knew that, but I wanted to be in New York because I love pressure. I knew we could do big things here in the future. If you can succeed in New York, you can succeed anywhere."

The well-known trainer Joe Abunassar talked about Porzingis' work ethic and potential. "His culture is basketball," said Abunassar.

As per Marc Spears of Yahoo!, Anthony expressed his support towards his rookie teammate and said that they're duo would be in for the long haul.

"I know what we have as teammates. Nobody can come between us despite what anybody says. Nobody," Anthony said.

"I support him 100 percent. In New York they can run you in the ground with all that attention. I'm there to just let him know that when it's good, it's great," he added.

With rumors surfacing Anthony's possible trade, the All-Star said he would not welcome it and has people assuming that he would use his no-trade clause. According to theknicksblog.com, when asked if he would want to be traded if the team has a bad start, the scoring forward said "Hell, no."

He then added "For me to get to that point and then decide that this is not what it's going to be, I already came this far. That don't even come across my mind at this point."
