Rockstar To Start With ‘GTA 6’ Next Year? Release Date May Happen In 2018?

After having a major success for their recent game "Grand Theft Auto 5," Rockstar North revealed their plans for "GTA 6" and its release date, which will most likely happen by 2020.

All of the rumors and speculations started after a report from Develop Online revealed that Rockstar boss Leslie Benzies talked about the all the possibilities they could imagine, as they have ideas lined up for the game.

"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do," Benzies revealed about the possible release date of the game. "We don't know what 'GTA 6' will be, but we've got some ideas."

Suggestions about the game's future further strengthened after Benzies revealed that they have been thinking about the setting of the game, which they said to be set in a new city, different from the previous cities they have introduced in the past.

"It comes from the idea first," he said about the possible setting of "GTA 6" once the release date is announced. "Where is it going to be set is the first question. Then that defines the missions; you're doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the missions in."

With its release date rumored in the next few years, GTA 6 Grand Theft Auto website talked about the setting of the game, which they revealed could include the entire map of the United States.

"Rockstar is planning to inculcate the entire US map in Grand Theft Auto 6, which we all know will be the successor of Grand Theft Auto 5," the website revealed. "People have a lot of expectations from GTA 6 and this can be verified by the rumors, which are hot in the market."
