‘Justice League’ Movie Easier To Watch Than ‘Batman V Superman?’ ‘Dawn Of Justice’ Director Maps Out DC Universe

The "Justice League" movie will be "lighter" in tone than "Batman v Superman."

According to Gizmodo, the upcoming "Justice League" movie will have a different tone than "Batman v Superman." Screenwriter Chris Terrio admitted to WSJ that the films will have continuity but will bring viewers to different places.

"I expect 'Justice League' will be tonally not quite as dark as 'Batman v Superman," he revealed. "From that point of view, I felt compelled to go back and try to lift us and myself into a different tonal place because I think when you write a darker film, sometimes you want to redeem it all a bit."

It was previously reported that the script for the "Justice League" movie is already finished. Terrio talked about the film as well as how it connects to "Batman v Superman."

"In superhero stories, Batman is Pluto, god of the underworld, and Superman is Apollo, god of the sky," the "Justice League" movie writer said.

"That began to be really interesting to me - that their conflict is not just due to manipulation, but their very existence. In the end, there's a common humanity which I think is discovered at a certain moment in the film."

Meanwhile, "BvS" director Zack Snyder has already plotted the five years' worth of DC films that would take off after "Batman v Superman."

"I pitched it to the studio like, 'Listen, the idea is that Batman exists within the universe of Superman,'" Snyder told EW. "And I go, 'Guys, here's the headline: Not just if Batman exists, guess what? Wonder Woman, the whole group. The Flash. Cyborg. Aquaman."

Apparently, the studio is also excited for the idea since it has been a long time coming.

"What do [moviegoers] really want to see Wonder Woman and Superman talking about in movie four, and how do we get there?" Greg Silverman, the president of creative development and worldwide production at Warner Bros., said.

The first part of the "Justice League" movie is slated for release on Nov. 17, 2017.
