New ‘D. Gray-man’ Anime Series Confirmed

There will be a new "D. Gray-man" anime series entitled as "D. Gray-man Hallow." This adaptation will reportedly be aired on Jul. 2016 together with a new voice cast.

Along with the new promotional video that was released at the AnimeJapan 2016 event, many were enthusiastic and looking forward for the comeback of Katsura Hoshino's "D. Gray-man."

Even though the fans' excitement waned in the long run due to Katsura Hoshino's hiatus during the manga production; the "D. Gray-man" anime series was still quite popular and had managed to last for two seasons starting from 2006 to 2008 with a total of 103 episodes.

Fans were pleased to know that the producers of "D. Gray-man Hallow" will not remake the whole series, instead they will be starting from where it last left off.

According to Anime News Network the cast will include Ayumu Murase (who voiced as "Shōyō Hinata in Haikyu!!," "Shinkurō Kichōji in Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei") will play Allen Walker and Shinnosuke Tachibana (as Tomoe in "Kamisama Hajimemashita," Peroroncino in "Overlord") will play as Howard Link. They will replace Sanae Kobayashi who played as Allen and Daisuke Kishio as Howard in the previous adaptation.

- Natsuki Hanae as Lavi

- Ai Kakuma as Lenalee Lee

- Yutaka Aoyama as The Earl of Millennium

- Masakazu Nishida as Tyki Mikk

- Yui Kondou as Road Camelot

- Souichiro Hoshi as Wisely

- Ryōta Asari as Alma Karma

"D. Gray-man" is a Japanese manga which is set in the early 20th century of an alternative fantasy world. It revolves around Allen Walker who had been fighting against Akuma and Millennium Earl. As the story goes, the Earl decides to call the Noah family, superhuman descendants of Noah who can destroy the Innocence. The Black Order and The Noah family decide to search for the Heart which is the most powerful piece of Innocence and whosoever can take the Heart will ensure their victory.
