Huawei P9 To Be Released On April 6! New Smartphone’s USB Type-C Port Confirmed?

We are only counting days before Huawei's new flagship phone and the fifth smartphone in its P-series is revealed, the Huawei P9 on April 6 in London!

In its report, Tech Times said that the much-anticipated Huawei P9 will be coming in four variants: the standard 5.2-inch model, the cheaper variant dubbed as P9 Lite, a "beefed-up, feature-rich" version and a version with a bigger screen dubbed as P9 Max or P9 Plus.

The report also highlighted rumors about Huawei P9 sporting a HiSilicon Kirin 950 octa-core processor for and Mali-T880 GPU. Moreover, the standard variant of Huawei P9 will have 3 GB RAM while the premium version will be having 4 GB RAM. Display resolution of the new smartphone will be 1080p and its battery life will have 3,900 mAh.

Several reports also point out that Huawei P9 will come with 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage options. It may also boast of a 12-megapixel sensor that will certainly enhance the device's camera resolution and focus.

"The camera is potentially one of Huawei P9's most exciting features, as it looks like it will have a dual-camera on the back," Breathecast quoted in its report. "This is likely to work the same way as it does on the Honor 6, allowing you to refocus your shots after you've taken them."

Meanwhile, another set of leaked images have most recently circulated around the Web showing the Huawei P9 handset on all angles. The leaked images, which was published by 9To5Google, showed the highly rumored features of the upcoming Huawei flagship: the dual camera setup, the rear fingerprint sensor and the USB Type-C port.

The USB Type-C Port is one of the most requested features of Huawei users. USB Type-C Port will render the device with faster charging and faster data transfer capabilities.
