After doing a V-app together with the fans, Allkpop stated that the group released the new music video. It is evident that BTS is done from the 'boy next door' concept as they now look more mature. In the V-app sohw, Bangtan's leader, Rap Mon said, "Wings" is their journey from boyhood to adulthood.
The music video is directed by Lumpens so it was beautifully made. There were solo shots of the members and also shots of them dancing to the choreography. The music video started with all of them in a museum doing different things.
Then, Jin was suddenly attracted to one of the paintings. After that, it was the group shot that was shown in the teaser. Jungkook covered Jimin eyes then the music started. There was also a part in the mv that Jin kissed one of the statues and V's back wa sshown with a wound from cut wings.
The music video, as said by IBT, is a lot more different than previous releases of Bangtan. It is also very evident in the lyrics of the song "Blood Sweat & Tears" that the boys are now men. Most of their lyrics are mature now and some are even risky. The members are wearing low cut v neck shirts showing off their sexiness. The choreography, like other BTS choreos are very sharp and difficult. J-Hope and Jimin definitely stood out from it.
