Red Velvet recently performed at Seoul Institute of Arts for the inauguration ceremony. While performing at the COEX Auditorium, the girls got into technical issues that make them look awkward.
Korea Boo reported, Red Velvet performed their hit "Dumb Dumb" perfectly for at least one minute during the event. The unfortunate accident stroke and slightly ruined their flawless performance. At first, the girls of Red Velvet showed a great teamwork that could make audiences feel their spirits. However, the audio of the song suddenly started to crack up. The girls obviously looked confused and disoriented that made them couldn't follow the song because of the incident.
The report says that Red Velvet members looked frustrated and lost since the incident couldn't be categorized as a minor issue. Fortunately, the girls were fast to catch up as soon as the issues got fixed. It's not the first time the group has got a technical problem while performing. According to Allkpop, back in February, Seulgi had to deal with mic fail when she performed new hit "Rookie" with the group at Music Bank event. She and the rest of the group could still maintain their professionalism and continue their outstanding performance.
Last year, Red Velvet's Joy had also experienced an unpleasant thing while performing at a college festival. Joy was collapsed while the group performed "Happiness". Even though her friends at Red Velvet had told her to take a rest, she was eager to finish the song.
Technical issues in a stage performance are actually a common thing. However, this unfortunate event could lead to a mood-wreck for the performers. Not all performers could endure with the issue. If they're not in a good mood in the first place, it's not surprising if they leave the stage. Fortunately, Red Velvet succeeded to maintain their professionalism whenever an awkward situation strikes while they do an on-stage performance.
