Lee Joon Gi Hits Milestone Two Million Instagram Followers, Says 'Welcome 2M' to Fans In Video

Lee Joon Gi reportedly has now two million followers on Instagram. He surpassed the 1 million followers he has on this site last Oct. 2016. It was only a matter of about five months that he is again followed by another million users. "Welcome 2M," Lee Joon Gi accordingly captioned on the video of himself saying hello to his fans in Mar. 12.

Lee Joon Gi uses Instagram, says Soompi, to share aspects of his daily life and connect with fans all over the world. He purportedly frequently posts selfies, images from photo shoots, including shots from his global travels. His messages of love and thanks to his fans are allegedly often written in English. He also reportedly recently appeared in the reality show "My Ear's Candy."

According to Dramafever, Lee Joon Gi attained the one million mark of his Instagram followers last year after the premiere of historical romance drama "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo." The drama was reportedly an enormous international hit. Lee Joon Gi is undeniably one of the hottest Korean actor whose popularity extends over the boundaries of South Korea. He has allegedly more than 16.7 million followers for his Weibo account. This makes him also as one of the most popular Korean star in China.

It was reportedly estimated that Lee Joon Gi picked up about 600 thousand new Instagram followers after "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo" went on the air. Prior to the drama, he allegedly had only half a million followers. His hot historical drama recently reached the top rank in DramaFever's exclusive "Top 10 K-drama" rankings, based on international viewings.

Lee Joon Gi, which also is written as Lee Jun Ki, is a popular singer and actor, often referred to as a flower boy. This is apparently a phrase used to specify an good-looking man with attractive features. He began working as a model in 2001, and later went into acting. His first major role was in the hit film "The King and the Clown" in 2005.
