Jeon Jiyoon Is Candid In bnt Interview About How She Moved On After4Minute’s Disbandment

Jeon Jiyoon reportedly obliged for an interview with bnt after a photo shoot for her new partnership track with Samuel Seo. She was apparently asked about how she feels after 4Minute's disbandment. She said that she feels nostalgic about the times they were together when she watches the group's videos'.

She was also asked about her comments on her former co-members Heo Gayoon and Kwon Sohyun venturing into acting. According to Soompi, Jeon Jiyoon said she was worried initially but later applauded them for their acting passion. In response to a question of whom she wants to join forces with in the future, she said that she is talking with Kisum and Heize about music a lot. She is apparently planning a collaboration with the two of them soon.

The former 4Minute member Jeon Jiyoon reportedly made a spectacular reappearance as a solo artist with new music and a new name. She made her solo debut under the stage name Jenyer last Nov. 2016. Apparently, she ascended to the top of music charts abroad.

The singer released her digital single "I Do" under her new stage name. The track was allegedly personally written and produced by Jeon Jiyoon herself that showcased her warm and sweet voice. She is a singer-songwriter and actress.

In June 2016, according to Asianjunkee, Cube Entertainment confirmed that 4Minute decided to disband and the members, excluding HyunA. Cube Entertainment released the news of their departure in an official statement that said Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon, and Sohyun's contracts have already expired.

In Aug. 2016, Jeon Jiyoon signed an exclusive contract with JS E&M that has under its wings several well-known artists, as well as the South Korean girl group Tren-D. The agency announced to actively support her from music to acting and also on variety shows, citing her as having unlimited potential.
