Lee Min Ho was not only the narrator but reportedly also actively participated in the production of MBC's special documentary titled "DMZ The Wild." His participation in the show was accordingly pro bono as a talent donation. In a promotional interview clip, he implied that wanted to help the documentary genre become more popular in Korea. The whole crew spent a total of 700 days at the DMZ.
According to Soompi, Lee Min Ho had a bumpy time at the DMZ. "The first thought that came to my mind was, 'Why did I agree to do this?' Something is not right," he allegedly said. The actor apparently expected to experience new things but he instead encountered mines.
He reportedly has to encounter several hardships like walking on a one-kilometer steep mountain path at a freezing temperature of below 20 degrees Celsius. He has to stay up all night to take pictures of mountain goats. Lee Min Ho said that the DMZ is the worst site to make a film in Korea. "I think I have climbed enough mountains to last a lifetime during the past year" he narrated.
Lee Min Ho said he was so excited at first such that for about a few minutes what he did was to roam around. "But after getting to know the place, it got really tiring," he further added. As a newbie, his curiosity allegedly pushed him to do such things as investigating DMZ wild boars and even touching a snake, reports The Jakarta Post.
Lee Min Ho is one of the most popular Asian actors. This actor's popularity, not to be mistaken with the younger Korean actor Lee Min Ho, extends well beyond the borders of Korea. He allegedly is well known in China and in other countries. He reportedly has his very own wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Beijing.
