G-Dragon has confirmed that he will be staging his third major solo concert on June 10. The global superstar took the time to update his 13 million followers on his Instagram of the exciting event.
Based on his Instagram post, G-Dragon revealed that he will be having his concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. The concert will be entitled "G-Dragon 2017 concert: Mother's Womb" which is expected to also feature songs in GD's upcoming solo album, Good Music reported. On his post, G-Dragon listed the ticket price at 111,000 won.
It can be recalled that in January, YG Entertainment reps confirmed that G-Dragon was already working on his solo album while BIG BANG was on a break following T.O.P.'s mandatory military enlistment. YG reps said that G-Dragon and Taeyang were both working on their individual albums and would be releasing them in the first half of the year.
YG reps also confirmed that the label is already in the planning stages of the solo G-Dragon concert which will happen in the summer. Early reports did not mention the exact date but not even a day has passed that GD personally posted the details on his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Tickets will start to go on sale starting April 13 at 8 pm. "Mother's Womb" is G-Dragon's third solo major concert since his "Shine a Light" concert for his "Heartbreaker album in 2009 and his "One of a Kind" world tour for his album "Coup d'Etat,"Kpopstarz reported.
G-Dragon and the rest of BIG BANG were last seen on stage in January this year for the final leg of their "MADE" world tour which was the last time in a long while that the fans will see GD, T.O.P., Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri together before the boys embark on their mandatory military enlistment. G-Dragon and Taeyang are expected to receive their enlistment date by 2018 while Daesung and Seungri will follow soon after.
