BTS News: Gaming Company Develops BTS-Inspired Game To Bring K-pop Group Closer To International Fans: Fan-made Demo Now Available Online

A small US based studio has released the demo of a potential video game based on BTS members in an effort to bring the Kpop group closer to international fans. The game, called "To the Edge of the Sky," sets BTS members Rap Monster, Jin, JHope, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga and V in a futuristic universe as members of an elite special force and sets them on cool adventures that take inspiration from their MV and music concepts.

According to a post by Kpop Viral, the demo was developed by Aeon Dream Studios, whose CEO Ajané J.K. Celestin is a big fan of BTS. The studio made the decision to create the game demo because of the #ARMYWantsBTSGames initiative that came out in 2016.

In its press release, Aeon Dream Studios explained that the fan made demo for "To The Edge of the Sky" was made in two weeks' time and only showed a taste of what the game would be about. It only featured a partial cast and included only characters based on Rap Monster, Jin and Jimin for the meantime while the studio tries to get in touch with Big Hit Entertainment.

In an interview with the Daily Dot, Celestin said that they want to get Bog Hit Entertainment's go-signal before they continue to develop the game proper because they want the label which handles BTS to become involved with every step of the process. "We want them to be a part of it. We're working on getting in touch with them. We're willing to do all the work, so all we need is their seal of approval."

"To The Edge of the Sky" is a game set in 2077 where BTS members are part of the elite group Seven, which operates under a special government unit called P.H.A.N.T.A.S.M. Players will get to work with BTS characters who also feature similar character traits as the original BTS members to complete a series of missions and achieve the game's ultimate goal.

Meanwhile, Soompi reported that BTS has reached yet another major milestone on twitter as their official account @bts_twt has reached over 5 million followers. This came shortly after BTS concluded the massively successful US leg of its 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour.
