PSY, SECHSKIES, WINNER Rule Gaon Charts From May 7-13; YG Artists On A Roll With Major Comebacks

It has been a very eventful month for K-pop and the month isn't even over yet. Gaon Chart recently released the chart rankings of this month's releases from May 7 to May 13 with PSY, SECHSKIES, and WINNER ruling on the rankings.

According to Gaon Chart's National Digital Singles ranking, PSY's "I Luv It" takes the top spot followed by comeback kings SECHSKIES with their single "Be Well." PSY also took the third spot with "New Face". The Unnies' "Right?", "If I Get Drunk Today" from Suran ft. Changmo. IU's "Palette" featuring BIG BANG leader G-Dragon slid down to the 6th spot while WINNER's "Really, Really" held strong at #7, Hyukoh's "Tomboy" and Hyukoh leader Oh Hyuk's collaboration with IU "I Can't Love You Anymore" rounded up the Top 10 spots, reported All Kpop.

For Gaon's physical album rankings, the SECHSKIES "20th anniversary" album reigned supreme followed by IU's comeback album "Palette." WINNER's "FATE NUMBER FOR" maintained its position at #3 while MONSTA X's "The Clan pt. 2.5 Beautiful" landed at #4. SF9's "Breaking Sensation" is also doing well at the 5th spot while BTS took the 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th spots with "Wings", "The Most Beautiful Monent in Life: Young Forever," "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Part 2" and "You Never Walk Alone." DIA took the 9th spot with "YOLO."

According to Gaon, for online downloads, PSY's "I Luv It" and "New Face" from his 8th studio album " 4 x 2 = 8" took the first and third spots while Unnies' "Right?" ended up in second place. "I Get Drunk Today" took the fourth spot. The 5th, 6th and 9th spots are all occupied by songs from PSY's comeback album. PSY's collaboration with Taeyang "Love" and Lee Sung Kyung "Last Scene" as well as his rap fusion song with iKON's B.I. and Bobby "BOMB" made it to the Top 10 list. Han Dong Geun's "Crazy" and SECHSKIES' "Be Well" took the 7th and 8th spots while IU and G-Dragon's collaboration "Palette" rounded up the list with close to 80,000 downloads for the week.

The Gaon chart ranking does not yet include TWICE's comeback "Signal" which shook up the radio and sales charts last week and is expected to shake up the lineup for the next Gaon Chart figures. iKON is also expected to release its much-anticipated comeback album on May 22, Kpopstarz reported.
