MONSTA X member I.M has fans excited with the curious tracklist for "Duality," his first solo digital mini-album, revealed with an equally curious poster.
The five-track lineup is presented in a soft-colored poster - of pink and purple hues with white text - that creates an intimate feel around it. All songs in the tracklist involve I.M in the songwriting, composition, and arrangement and receive credit for all processes in all songs.
Songs set to appear in "Duality" includes the title track "God Damn," followed by "Howlin'," "Burn," "Happy to Die," and "Flower-ed." According to Starship Entertainment, the title song is a hip-hop banger that contains a deep emotional message - one of masking one's loneliness with an outward appearance of happiness. With this teasing detail out now, fans can definitely look forward to I.M sincere and personal songwriting, as well as his own sensitivities in music. Starship additionally teased that I.M will be displaying his vocal skills as well as his well-established ability to rap.
Ahead of the release of "Duality," fans can expect more surprises and twists such as a pair of concept photo reveals scheduled on February 14 and 15. A music video teaser trailer will be dropping on the 17th, followed by an exclusive album preview on the 18th.
Then I.M will officially release his first solo digital mini-album across major streaming services on February 19, captivating music fans everywhere with his "Duality."

MONSTA X I.M
Born Im Chang-kyun in Gwangju, South Korea, I.M emerged as the sixth trainee who was revealed to be a member of MONSTA X after the conclusion of the reality survival show No.Mercy. He was a late addition to the reality show, first appearing in Mission 4. As an emerging songwriter, he has five songwriting credits on MONSTA X's first EP, "Tresspass," released in May 2015. A year later, he released his first mixtape, "Who Am I?" through the official Starship Entertainment YouTube channel.
Also, prior to joining MONSTA X, he was among the members of the boy group Nu'bility under Special K Entertainment. Despite not being able to formally debut, they were able to hold events and various performances.
