Phil Jackson Tweets Kendrick Lamar: Diddy Instagram His Response To Compton Rapper's Verse On Big Sean's 'Control' Single [VIDEO] Claiming 'King Of New York' Throne

Phil Jackson tweets Kendrick Lamar while Diddy takes to Instagram to respond at the Compton rapper's lyrics in the song "Control" that was released Monday by Big Sean.

In the song, Kendrick Lamar disses almost every mainstream rapper alive, while actually getting at Phil Jackson and also claiming to be the "king of New York." Diddy didn't like that apparently, meanwhile the legendary NBA coach tweets his thoughts on the matter.

"Who the f**k y'all thought it's supposed to be?

If Phil Jackson came back, still no coachin' me

I'm uncoachable, I'm unsociable" - the lyrics by Kendrick Lamar in "Control" when he refers to the 11-time NBA champion as a head coach with the L.A. Lakers and the Chicago Bulls. Jackson took to Twitter Tuesday to respond directly to the "Bitch don't kill my vibe" artist.

"@kendricklamar it's okay to be cocky and sure, but we all need somebody to lean on. Let's just call it mentoring."

Phil Jackson has coached Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Shaquille O'Neal, Ron Artest and many other legends and many other players with big egos. His joking with Lamar was an offer not to be his coach, but rather his mentor.

Besides Jackson, Diddy took to Instagram to respond to Lamar. One of the lyrics in "Control," the rapper claimed to be the king of New York. Diddy, who rose up through the music industry in New York and found it funny what Lamar, who lives in California, had to say.

Even though Diddy isn't directly dissed, he posted a picture on Instagram of himself besides fellow New York rap legend Jay-Z, both laughing. It said on top, "And then Kendrick said, 'I'm the King of New York."
