Jennifer Aniston Sued: Contractors Say She Didn't Pay $43,000 Owed; Cut Off Communication; Demolished Deck

Jennifer Aniston has been sued by contractors who say they weren't paid after doing work.

The new lawsuit says that Jennifer Aniston is bad at paying her bills and owes to the tune of  $43,710.

J.R. Darnall Associates, Inc. claims they were not paid by the actress after they completed a job on Aniston's newly renovated Bel-Air home.

J.R. Darnall Associates, Inc. says it was not given an opportunity to correct a problem with a deck they'd built prior the deck being torn down, and that all their communication with the client, Aniston, had been refused.

The contractors renovated the Aniston home...but were never paid, they say-so they're suing. The lawsuit for breach of contract, breach of oral contract and for other causes of action in their lawsuit was filed Aug. 13 in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The company laid cement for a deck and stairs, court documents reveal. It supplied labor, cabinet materials, and the finishing of a floor in Aniston's home. The contractors redid the deck a total of four times. They were paid each time except the last.

The contractors redid the deck in the lower level of the Aniston home, which the actress shares with fiance Justin Theroux. They were told the deck had to be done by March 22 so that Aniston could use it for a party on March 24.

However, after the party, the contractors were told that there was a water leak in the construction. But rather than letting them fix the problem, the contractors claim Aniston cut them off altogether and refused to speak to them.

Aniston's camp, on the other hand, seemed to have no clue what was going on.

"We are not aware of any lawsuit. We have only heard of this through the media."
