Eminem’s new album for 2013 looks like it’s just about ready. Eminem debuted a new track called “Survival” in the trailer for the “Call of Duty: Ghosts, a new video game. Eminem is a large part of the video game. “Survival” is set to be one of the tracks of Eminem’s new album for 2013. There are rumors that Rihanna will be on the new Eminem album, which is expected to drop this fall, but there has been no confirmation.

“Survival” is the first official track we’re hearing from Eminem’s new album, his eighth record. The trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts was released yesterday and it features the hard-driving song. Eminem hasn’t said yet whether “Survival” will be one of the singles from Eminem’s new album, but Billboard is reporting that it will appear on the follow-up to the album “Recovery.”

The loud and aggressive track “Survival” was debuted at a live, multi-player event that was broadcast around the world. The new installment of the Activision game will be on sale on Nov. 5. Eminem said a video for “Survival” is on the way.

In yesterday’s video statement, Eminem said "The [new] song's about fighting back and it seems like it fits Ghosts perfectly/ I'm gonna be a big part of the [Call of Duty] game. My new song's in it, got a video dropping for it soon too."

The hook to the new Eminem track was written by Liz Rodrigues. Shady raps over gunshot from the video game, mouthing that he "came up rough / came to ruffle feathers." Eminem says this is his "last chance to make this whole stadium erupt." That doesn’t mean that Eminem will be retiring from the rap game again, he raps"If I don't do this music shit I lose my shit/ It's all I know how to do / I don't own no diploma for school, I quit! So there's nothing for me to fall back on."

Eminem’s new album will be his first solo record in three years and he’s been keeping details close to the vest. Eminem hasn’t named any guest artists. He hasn’t said anything about the concept for the album. Eminem’s hype man, Mr. Porter, has only hinted about the release date. Eminem hasn’t even hinted about what the album’s title will be. Eminem didn’t perform any new tracks when he performed in New York City last week for the G-Shock watch show. All we know is what Shady Records president, Paul Rosenberg is saying, that the record will drop sometime this fall and that a lead single is “coming soon.”

“Recovery” sold over 10 million copies in 2010. Bolstered by the hit single “Love the Way You Lie,” which he recorded with Rihanna, Eminem’s recovery became the year’s top album in the United States. “Love the Way You Lie” was Eminem’s best-selling single in his history. Eminem also reunited with Royce da 5’9” for a single that went to number 7 on the United Kingdom album charts, under the name Bad Meets Evil.
