Chris Brown Slammed With New Lawsuit While Hit-And-Run Case Continues With City Attorney Despite Victim Wanting Case Dropped

Chris Brown continues his streak of bad luck as the singer is hit with a new lawsuit by Frank Ocean's cousin while the singer continues to deal with the hit-and-run case with the City Attorney.

According to USA Today, Sha'keir Duarte is suing Chris Brown for assault and battery stemming from an altercation between Chris Brown and Frank Ocean's entourage at a recording studio January 27.

Reportedly, Frank Ocean's cousin suffered a concussion as well as humiliation and mental anguish from Chris Brown's entourage puching and kicking him.

"This is what gives lawyers and lawsuits a bad name is garbage like this," says Chris Brown's attorney Mark Geragos.

Still, with Chris Brown also dealing with the hit-and-run case, things do not look good for the singer.

TMZ reports that while the victim of the fender bender incident has asked Brown to not be charged and prosecuted, the City Attorney is objecting to a dismissal.

While the judge could dismiss the case anyway, should Chris Brown be prosecuted, this could trigger a probation violation stemming from the 2009 Rihanna case, which could send Chris Brown to jail.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown is continuing to work on his latest album, "X," while he will reportedly retire from the music world afterwards.
