Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Release Date: Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 And Samsung Galaxy S3 Will Carry New Android OS According To Reports

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date was July 25 when Asus officially announced its new Nexus 7 tablet. The gadget is one of the first devices to ship with Android 4.3, the latest version of the popular mobile operating system, according to an Asus press release.

SamMobile is reporting that the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be the next device that will carry the newest version of Jelly Bean. The famous phablet will come with the updated OS out of the box. The Samsung-focused tech site wrote in a tweet that the tech giant is testing Android 4.3 internally.

Aside from the Note 3, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is also expected to carry the new update. According to a Samsung spokesperson from the U.K. who spoke with Know Your Mobile, the South Korean tech giant “will confirm upgrade plans to Android 4.3 to selected Galaxy devices in the coming months.”

One of the much-awaited features of the brand-new Android 4.3 is restricted profiles; a function that allows parents to limit children’s access to mature content.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean also supports Bluetooth smart technology, opening the doors to mobile apps that connect to new devices like fitness sensors. The OS also comes with Google apps like Chrome, Maps, YouTube, Hangouts and Google Now. All the apps are designed for the cloud, making it simple and works seamlessly across multiple devices.

Future users of the devices with the Android 4.3 update will have access to Google Play, which enables them to download movies, apps, books and magazines.

According to the Christian Post, the new software will roll out to Nexus devices immediately with other best-selling handsets like Galaxy S4 and HTC One receiving the update later on.
