American Horror Story Coven Cast Finds 'Good Witch' In Christine Ebersole: New Casting Coincides With Teaser, 'Staircase'

"American Horror Story: Coven" is off to a good start this season, with filming continuing in New Orleans and new cast announcements practically every week.

This time, it appears Ryan Murphy is making sure a "good witch" is represented on "American Horror Story: Coven" with Christine Ebersole.

"Yesterday I cast Christine Ebersole, who's a great Tony Award winning actress," says Ryan Murphy according to Bloody Disgusting.

"She's going to play this [recurring] Glenda the Good Witch-type of gal."

With an illustrious cast like Jessica Lange, Francis Conroy, Lily Rabe, Denis O'Hare, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Taissa Farmiga, Patti Lupone, Jamie Brewer, Evan Peters, Gabourey Sidibe, and Emma Roberts, will Christine Ebersole be enough to balance the evil forces at play in "American Horror Story: Coven?"

In addition, does this mean "American Horror Story: Coven" will feature predominantly naughty witches?

Coinciding with this cast announcement, a third teaser has been released, titled "Staircase."

In this teaser, is appears the Salem witches is once again being highlighted, with the same haunting lyric, "There is a house in New Orleans..."

Given that "American Horror Story: Coven" will involve the Salem witches and voodoo priestesses, will the next teaser go back to the voodoo aspect of the season?
