Adam Lambert To Play Chris Colfer's Nemesis In Glee Season 5: Insures Voice For $50 Million In Time For American Idol Season 13

Adam Lambert has been quite busy as of late, with his involvement in "Glee" season 5 and his latest insurance on his voice just in time for tour and "American Idol" season 13.

As previously reported, Adam Lambert will be joining "Glee" for season 5, and Chris Colfer revealed earlier this week the role Lambert will play for Kurt.

"Oh yeah! Apparently Adam Lambert is joining the show and he's going to play my nemesis," says Colfer on "Kelly & Michael."

No doubt because of his killer pipes and his inevitable musical contribution on "Glee," Adam Lambert has also reportedly insured his voice for $50 million.

"Allegedly," Lambert repeats, in his interview with Lee Downs. "It's an important commodity. My voice is my moneymaker."

And it's good timing, as Adam Lambert is also making his first live concert appearance with Queen at the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

But what about the issues with the "American Idol" judges panel? Currently, no names have been officially confirmed, but names like Jennifer Lopez, will.i.am, as well as former "American Idol" contestants Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert have all been dropped.

So far, Ignjatovic and Prager seem reluctant to expand, but welcome names like Adam Lambert to come back to "American Idol" in some way regardless.

"We all know having watched the show that he is really beloved. As far as him being considered as a judge, you've heard just as many names thrown out there as we have, but I think that he is obviously a big part of the show and getting him on there is always great."
