It appears the "American Idol" judges panel is nearing completion, with Jennifer Lopez reportedly returning to for season 13.

According to E! Online, Jennifer Lopez's beau Casper Smart accidently let it slip that J.Lo is returning to the judges panel during an interview about his new show "A Step Away."

"Returning to 'American Idol' makes sense for Jennifer this season," says a source.

"As the show's schedule will allow her to focus on new film and TV projects. And, of course, her twins are starting school this year and she will have time for her family."

In addition to Jennifer Lopez, it appears Keith Urban will likely join the judges panel after receiving positive feedback from last season on "American Idol."

Keith Urban's return was announced during the 2013 Summer TCA Press Tour, and he is the only judge from last season to do so.

"I will confirm one thing: That Keith is going to return to the show," said Fox network president Kevin Reilly.

"Keith did a great job last year, the fans really liked him. With a new panel, you are going to see that Keith is a really funny guy." 

But who will join Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban.

So far, a host of potential candidates including Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert have been named, but nothing is confirmed. Black Eyed Peas founder will.i.am is also rumored to be in negotiations to join.

And, with Jennifer Lopez  joining the judges panel, is Jennifer Hudson out of consideration as the female judge?
