Lady Gaga Swine Single to follow Lady Gaga Applause single contest?  Gaga's ARTPOP promotion running into trouble, according to some.

Lady Gaga had declared her "Applause" single as the song of the decade, but it is doing poorly. According to Showbiz411,  "Applause" has already fallen to number 4 on iTunes and number 8 on Amazon, with Katy Perry's new single Roar faring much better. Radio stations are getting poor feedback for the song.  She has started a contest on Twitter to encourage her fans to buy multiple copies of the Lady Gaga Artpop Applause single, saying:

"Screenshot your 'Applause' purchase @ladygaga request to radio, & hashtag #Applause well choose 2 devoted fans to go WITH me to ITunes fest!"

"The 2 fans w the most purchase/gift screenshots, radio requests, 'Applause' selfies/video, will fly international to meet me+watch the show!"

Interscope is taking action by rush-releasing a second Lady Gaga single Swine on September 1. This isn't good. Releasing two singles more than two months ahead of the Artpop app album release is a sign that the promotion is having trouble. According to Examiner.com, Lady Gaga isn't taking the news too well and is having a meltdown on Twitter.

Lady Gaga has chosen an unusual promotional strategy for her Artpop app album release.  She has made an unusual performance art video with Marina Abramovic already.  Haus of Gaga released this statement about Artpop:
