iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 Release Date: New Smartphone Rumored To Get Gold Finish, Fingerprint Scanner And Faster Chip

Are you tired of your iPhone's dull white and black color? If you are, then this news is definitely for you. According to leaked videos from YouTube, Apple will release its latest iPhone, iPhone 5S, in a brand new color - champaigne gold.

Several months ago, Apple Insider reported that gold parts were bound for the company's latest smartphone. Some leaked images and videos on the Internet have intensified the rumor and is now being expected by iPhone fanboys in the company's upcoming announcement on September 10.

If the new case cover for iPhone 5S pushes through, it has the potential to do well in emerging markets such as China and India, where gold is considered a lucky charm. In the United States though, as well as other parts of Europe, the champaigne gold color would be a must-get for smartphone users who treat their devices as a fashion accessory.

Aside from the brand new casing color, the latest iPhone model is rumored to have a faster  A7 system-on-a-chip based on ARM'S 64-bit ARMv8 architecture, CNET reports. It also runs the latest iOS7 software that has been under testing since June this year. Some leaked features about a fingerprint scanner has also spread across the Web, potentially providing more security features for Apple product users.

According to Design & Trend, the biometric finerprint scanner would not only be for phone lock purposes but possibly even for Apple App Store purchases online.

Indeed, in spite the alleged lack of innovation on the part of Apple, it is still trying to make its way through the smartphone world by targeting more than one bird at a time. However, in terms of screen size, iPhone models are still belittled by their Android-powered counterparts.
