Madonna celebrated her 55th birthday with her boyfriend and kids Lola and Rocco. Madonna dressed as Marie Antoinette in a French Revolution-inspired costume birthday party in the South of France on Saturday, Aug. 17.

Madonna's boyfriend Brahim Zaibat, daughter Lola, 16, and son Rocco, 13, partied with their mom on her big day, Us Weekly reports.

"They danced to Madonna songs, the whole family. It was cute. Everybody was dressed up and Madonna kept flinging around a white rose," a source told Us Weekly. "Lola is growing up and had a birthmark above her lip just like her mom as a little tribute, and she wore a tight-fitting bodice, too."

Madonna, who looked amazing for just turning 55, wore a gold and diamond grill on her teeth, a heart-shaped eyepatch over one eye, a huge, teased blond wig, a purple, cleavage-baring corset leotard, sans pants, Us Weekly reports.

"Madonna looked amazing! Her legs are sick!" the source added.

The pop star posted a picture on Instagram of her Marie Antoinette-inspired look, with the caption: "Perhaps we had too much Cale! But at my Birthday Party all I could see was LOVE."

She then re-posted the photo, saying: "Perhaps I had too much Champagne! I meant to write CAKE!"

According to Us Weekly, Madonna's 55th birthday party wasn't the first time Madonna has dressed up in an outfit inspired by that French period. In 1990, the singer wore a period ball gown for her performance of "Vogue" at the MTV Video Music Awards; and for her Re-Invention tour in 2004, the singer wore bustier leotards similar to the one she donned at her 55th birthday bash, the website reports.
