Selena Gomez's parents sat her down after her 21st birthday party and staged a Justin Bieber-intervention, telling her that if he didn't get out of her life, they would, HollywoodLife reports.

"They told her this was the last straw," a source reportedly told Life & Style. "They told her Justin was a really bad person. They said she has to rid him from her life, otherwise they can't be a part of her life - her new baby sister included."

Selena was reportedly devastated - understandably - by the intervention and the fact that she was put in a position where she had to choose between her family and her first love, HollywoodLife also reports.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have caught the attention of fans for their rocky relationship, but new information reveals two songs on her new album were personal and about her ex-boyfriend.

"Forget Forever and "Love Will Remember" are the two songs inspired by the "Heartbreaker" singer.

"Both of those are really strong tracks and very fun and emotional as well," Selena reveals, then adds, "It was really liberating."

And Justin Bieber has reportedly caused a rift between besties Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, the New York Daily News reports, leaving fans wondering if the two friends will ever reconcile if the "Come and Get It" star continues her on-off relationship.

"Taylor hates him," a source told Us Weekly. "She thinks Selena makes a mistake every time she reconciles with him. Bieber has really come between the girls."
