Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber back together even after a sit-down meeting to discuss the twos love-life and the concern the "Come and Get It" parents have with the male pop-star.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez reportedly hooked up near the end of July and that sparked a serious meeting because her parents are worried that the two stars are back together again. They don't want it anymore.

The parents of Selena Gomez set up an intervention to air their reasoning wanting her to leave Justin Bieber instead of getting back together. They want a permanent departure from her.

"They told her Justin was a really bad person. They said she has to rid him from her life, otherwise they can't be part of her life - her new baby sister (Gracie Elliot) included. There were tears from everyone and Selena was devastated," a source told Life & Style magazine.

The apparent threat might have worked as a friend of Gomez told the magazine.

"It was a moment of weakness," the friend said of the July 27 hookup that spurred the intervention. "She promised her family she wouldn't see [Justin] again. It's going to be tough for her, but she wants to break free this time."

It is unclear whether or not the two will break up officially, but the parents want it to happen. This might be the time for the 21-year-old former Disney star to leave the 19-year-old lately troubled singer.
