Australian Baseball Player Christopher Lane Killed in Oklahoma By Three Bored Teenagers; Former Deputy Prime Minister Tim Fischer Campaigns For Boycott On US Travels By Australians

Former Deputy Prime Minister of Australian, Tim Fischer urged Australians to ban travels to the United States, after the senseless death of Australian collegiate baseball player, Christopher Lane, 22. Christopher Lane was killed by, Chancey Allen Luna, 16, James Francis Edwards Jr., 15, and Michael Dewayne Jones, 17, all three teenagers from Oklahoma.

During his interview with CCN Former Deputy Prime Minister Tim Fischer, "You are 15 times more likely to be shot dead in the USA than you are here in Australia." Tim Fischer added, "There is murder mayhem on Main Street USA everyday of the week, but you hide from that."

The former Deputy Prime Minister Fischer then reacted towards the United State's lenient gun control laws. He further mocked the Second Amendment as a petty excuse that the National Rifle Association (NRA) invokes.

Fischer said, "You let your congressmen and senators escape and dance around the bush when it's very real circumstance supported by the NRA." He further stated, "I've been to the Philadelphia Constitutional Museum. I've looked at your Second Amendment. I don't believe your Second Amendment provides for semiautomatics or automatics in the suburbs. This is why Australians and anybody else should think carefully about travelling to the USA, until you start to make a move on gun and sensible fire arm control."

"I enjoyed taking my family on the Coastal Starlight on Amtrak from Los Angeles to Seattle a few years ago. I'll think twice about it again because of your massacre level," Tim Fischer added.

The statements were made by the Former Deputy Prime Minister, after the three teenagers were officially charged. Two of the boys Chancey Allen Luna, 16 and James Francis Edwards Jr., 15, were charged first-degree murder. The third teenager Michael Dewayne Jones, 17 were filed charges as an accessory to the crime.

The three teenagers admitted shooting Christopher Lane out of boredom.
