Marshall, Lily, and Marvin were getting ready to move to Italy for her job, but then Marshall was offered a job as a judge at the end of season 8, The Latinos Post reports.

TVGuide reports that "Marshall's secret will be part of the 'dirty laundry' that executive producer Carter Bays promises will 'come exploding out' during the wedding weekend like last year's meatball sub. But naturally, it won't be Marshall who spills the beans."

We wonder who will let it slip to Lily that her plans for the future might not be the same as her husband's?

According to CarterMatt.com, Lily will learn about Marshall's secret job offer before the wedding happens, which may mean Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan's characters won't be too pleased with each other while smiling for wedding pictures.

One common theme of "How I Met Your Mother" is the strength of Marshall and Lily's relationship, so we doubt this will be the end of their marriage, though it may cause tension between them as they figure out whose job is more important. Ultimately, they may decide on a life that would be best for baby Marvin.

Another interesting thing to mention is the premiere episode, titled "The Locket," will introduce a potentially new female character with ties to Marshall, The Latinos Post reports. This could potentially cause another rift between Marshall and Lily.

The character, named Camille, is somewhere between her 30s and 40s, and is seated next to Marshall on a flight from Minnesota to New York City, where she becomes so annoyed with his behavior that it causes a commotion that results in both of them being escorted off the plane prior to takeoff, the website reports.
