LG G2 Specs, Price, Release Date: Mid-September Available In US For Verizon, AT&T Users

LG G2 Specs, price, release date: Mid-September in the U.S. might very well be when this new smartphone hits stores.

According to unnamed sources close to LG who spoke to Android Central, Verizon will be releasing its G2 on September 12, while the AT&T LG G2 is set to debut in its stores on September 13. No word on pricing, but customers will the opportunity to pre-order the phones as soon as September 1.

The LG G2 specs for a release date in September include a device that had the distinction of being the first mass-released handset to come with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm. It also came with features not seen on a phone of this anticipation. One of those is a button placement on the back of the phone.

The new smartphone was released at a convention in NYC mid-July. People are awaiting to actually own the phone and it should be in stores this September. 

As far as other specs are concerned,"Specifications of the LG G2 include a 5.2-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, the aforementioned quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a 13-megapixel rear camera.  Features, aside from the unique button placement, include LG's "Studio Quality Hi-Fi Sound" (24 bit/192 KHz sound quality, supposedly a first from the Korean company) and Graphic RAM (GRAM) technology, which, according to LG, expands battery life by about 10 percent by reducing display energy consumption by close to 30 percent," USDailyvoice.com wrote.
