The break-up saga isn't over yet as Kristen Stewart was reportedly texted by Katy Perry assuring her that nothing romantic was going on between Robert Pattinson and the "Part of Me" hitmaker.

Perry, 28, was romantically linked to the British actor after being spotted with him on various occasions including Bjork's performance at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles. Prior to that performance, Pattinson also spent a week at Perry's house.

Fans of the highly-acclaimed vampire saga were disheartened after Pattinson, 27, ended his four-year relationship with Stewart,23, because of the latter's affair with 'Snow White and The Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders.

In the wake of the Twilight stars' break-up, Perry became Pattinson's confidante. Despite the two's sudden closeness, the singer revealed in an interview with Elle UK magazine that she was forced to send a reassuring text to Stewart saying, "I know you've seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person. I'm just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t*ts."

Perry is currently dating musician John Mayer following her divorce from British comedian Russell Brand in December 2011.

As opposed to the rumor mill's speculations, Perry has never slept with Pattinson. For Perry, her relationship with Pattinson is more like a familial one. "He's my bud, I'm like his big sister," claims Perry. She is very comfortable with Pattinson that she even farts in front of him which she vows never to do in front of a man she's dating.

The unassuming heartthrob was also previously involved with another famous beauty - model Riley Keough. As earlier revealed in Us Weekly, Pattinson enjoys "hanging out and hooking up" with the granddaughter of the late Elvis Presley.

Stewart remains mum about the text message that she has received. Is she purposely ignoring anything concerning her former flame or is she secretly feeling relieved?
