The New Ramen Burger! [VIDEO] What's In It, Where To Find It And How It Is Prepared[REPORT]

The ramen burger made by Keizo Shimamoto, is taking Williamsburg Brooklyn by storm.  The Ramen Burger is an all-beef patty, sandwiched between two ramen noodle "buns."

Keizo Shimamoto, who created the ramen burger in the US and is currently selling it on Saturdays from Smorgasbord, a seasonal Brooklyn flea market. Lines to sample the ramen burger are already between 150 and 600 people deep.

"It's like half burger, half bowl of ramen, but put into one," Shimamoto told ABC News. "You might think that it's crispy because I pan fry it. But when you bite into it, the inside is chewy like Ramen noodles."

The ramen burger consists of a beef patty sandwiched between two pan-fried discs of ramen noodles, then topped with an arugula, green onions, and a "secret" Shoyu sauce (a type of soy sauce).

Shimamoto got the burger idea in Japan where ramen bun sandwiches are common but not with beef which is very expensive there.

"I experimented with different recipes to get the perfect bun. People think it's crispy because they see it on the grill, but when you bite into it you notice that the noodles are still quite soft." But it doesn't break apart. Why? "That's a secret," says Shimamoto.

The Ramen burger is offered at the Smorgasburg in the Williamsburg flea market for $8 a burger. See the insane line at the flea market:
