Elisabeth Hasselbeck, “The View”’s conservative voice, will make her on-air premiere on FOX News Channel's "Fox & Friends" on Sept. 16. Elisabeth Hasselbeck will interview celebrities, politicians and other newsmakers on the morning show. Elisabeth Hasselback will join Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, who have been working together on "Fox & Friends" since 1998.

Former Playboy Playmate of the Year and renowned comic actress Jenny McCarthy will replace Joy Behar, 70 on 'The View.” Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s replacement has not yet been chosen. When “The View” comes back in the fall, it will employ guest hosts. On her last day, Elisabeth Hasselbeck called her decade-long run on “The View” "nothing short of extraordinary." Hasselbeck said it is an “honor” to be working at the Fox News Channel.

Bill Shine, executive vice president of programming, on FOX News announced Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s debut date on Thursday. FOX also announced that Elisabeth Hasselbeck will join co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade on a redesigned set. The new “Fox & Friends” set will be unveiled the same morning as Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s launch.

"Fox & Friends" has been the signature morning program for the Fox News for 15 years. The hosts interview celebrities, athletes and political heavyweights as well as reports on general news, sports, weather, politics, business and entertainment. “Fox & Friends” has been called an alternative to the usual morning shows and regularly includes stunts and musical performances.
