‘Scandal’ Season 3 Spoilers: Katie Lowes Would 'Welcome' Romance For Quinn And Huck; Flashback Episode About Olivia Pope Coming

Though the return of the hit Washington drama from ABC is about 6 weeks away, there have already been a number of "Scandal" Season 3 spoilers circulating online.

Both the cast and the crew were already spilling some titillating Scandal Season 3 spoilers which definitely made the fans more excited about the TV series. For instance, Katie Lowes, acting as Quinn Perkins, together with the show's executive producer, Betsy Beers and co-executive producer and director Tom Verica revealed interesting Scandal Season 3 spoilers.

Verica told TV Fanatic, as cited by Beauty World News that the first episode of Scandal Season 3 will take off just minutes after where the previous season ended. He said, "It's a premiere that just goes like a shot."

And then Betsy Beers added, "There are a couple of revelations that are key." The season 2 finale of Scandal left the fans hanging as Olivia Pope was escorted into her father's car. Verica hinted another Scandal Season 3 spoiler saying that Rowan Pope (played by Joe Morton) who "figures very prominently mainly because of what happens at the end of that [episode] and his interaction with Liv..." will be a recurring role. The director said, "I think he's going to be around for a while."

Regarding Olivia Pope's future, another exciting Scandal Season 3 spoiler leaks that there will be another flashback episode as Verica shared, "People love flashbacks on the show and it's such a mechanism that really works. People love flashbacks on the show and it's such a mechanism that really works."

As for the Huckleberry Quinn fans, Beers shared, "I think Huck and Quinn are incredibly close and that's one of the most amazingly cool relationships on the show and, from what I know, there's going to continue to be a dynamic there."

When Katie Lowes was asked about a possible romance between Quinn and Huck, she said with apprehension that she would welcome it. However, as posted in TV Fanatic, "with Quinn's track record, nobody should expect a happy ending."  Lowes added, "This is Scandal, after all."

Scandal Season 3 will be back October 3 on ABC.
