Man Dead 45 Minutes Comes Back To Life: Son Says "Dad, You're Not Going To Die Today", Heart Starts Beating Again

A man declared dead for 45 minutes miraculously came back to life.

Tony Yahle was dead - but not forever.  In a medical miracle, Tony Yahle, was declared dead for 45 minutes, but then his heart started beating again.

"In the last 20 years, I've never seen anybody we have pronounced dead ... and then for him to come back ... I've never seen it," flabbergasted cardiologist Dr. Raja Nazir of Kettering Medical Center told local WHIOTV.com.

The family was about to view his body when his heart monitor started beeping again....slow, irregular beats-but beats.

Yahle, of West Carrollton, Ohio, suddenly died of of mysterious causes. He was  pronounced dead at Kettering Medical Center. But 45 minutes laer, he then miraculously came back to life.

Yhale had no prior health issues and worked as a diesel mechanic. He was at home with his wife asleep, but around 4 AM, his wife, Melissa, noticed his breathing sounded strange.

Yahle, 37, was rushed to the hospital. Doctors rushed to stabilize his heart, but it stopped beating for almost an hour.

Then, suddenly, it came back.

Yahle's 17-year-old son Lawrence ran into the room after hearing his dad had died, then witnessed him come back to life.

"I pointed at him and I said 'Dad, you're not going to die today,'" Lawrence said. "I stood there for a few more seconds. I was about to walk back to comfort the family.

"It went from hopeless to hope in an instant."

His Cardiologist, Dr. Raja Nazir told press he's never seen anything like Yahle's case.

Doctors still aren't sure what caused his sudden heart problem-or how he came back to life after 45 minutes.

Yahle himself isn't sure, either. He has no recollection of his experience.

"I have no memory of anything. I went to bed ... woke up five days later in the hospital," Yahle said.

"Nobody really has an explanation for it, medically anyway."

Yahle was airlifted to The Ohio State University medical center, where he remained for five days.  He came home with a defibrillator in his chest, yet no other apparent damage. He even plans to return to work on Monday.
