"Grey's Anatomy" season 10 is almost here, and more couple updates have surfaced regarding Jackson and April, as well as Alex and Jo.

"He's been very patient, and she's the one who sort of walked away from him," says "Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes regarding Jackson and April.

"And when the finale happened, he was feeling kind of 'done,' so her declaration is definitely going to have interesting repercussions."

"She's engaged to somebody else, and he's with somebody else, and it's not as if either of them is behaving, I would say, in the most mature manner. They've definitely got challenging times ahead," concludes Shonda Rhimes.

As previously reported, "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 will start off right after the events of the season 9 finale, with the superstorm still in effect.

And another couple who has some unresolved romantic tension is Alex and Jo. According to actress Camilla Luddington, the couple will have a bit of ways to go.

"They are going to be exploring their relationship this season," says Luddington according to TVLine. "I don't trust 'Grey's' to make it all go perfectly, but I do know they are crazy about each other and in love."

"We got smooches [in the finale], that's all. So we'll see where that leads!"

Currently, "Grey's Anatomy" is filming season 10 for its 200th episode.
