Amber Tamblyn Evokes Charlie Sheen in `Two and a Half Men’ Audition; Tells Jon Cryer to `F Himself’

Amber Tamblyn revealed her inner dragon blood in an early glimpse of her role on “Two and a Half Men.” Amber Tamblyn plays Jenny, the long-lost bisexual daughter of Charlie Sheen’s "Two and a Half Men" character Charlie Harper.

Amber Tamblyn’s sassy, self-assured character got a preview look when scenes were leaked of her character’s meeting with her Uncle Alan, played by Jon Cryer. In a case of art imitating life, Amber Tamblyn’s introduction to Jon Cryer everything a proud Charlie Sheen could hope for.

At the “Two and a Half Men” audition, Amber Tamblyn admitted "I told Jon Cryer to go 'F' himself in the audition in front of [creator] Chuck Lorre. True story."

Amber Tamblyn is a chip off the old block in the family. Charlie Sheen’s onscreen daughter Jenny loves women just like her dad did. Amber Tamblyn plays a flirtatious lesbian who has the acting bug.

Amber Tamblyn said "There's definitely a lot of Charlie Harper in the character I'm playing. She's the modern gay Katharine Hepburn with a sailor's mouth. Her liver is its own superhero."

Chuck Lorre told TV critics he’s happy with what Amber Tamblyn is bringing to the CBS sitcom. He said "I think it would be great to have a voice on the show from a different perspective. The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime."

Amber Tamblyn, who last appeared on the TV hit show "House," is only set to appear in five “Two and a Half Men” episodes, but chances are she will expand. She said "Hands down one of the best experiences of my 20 year career. The cast has been incredibly kind and supportive in guiding me through such unfamiliar steps. I've never done a sitcom before, I come mostly from dramatic roles, so there has been a large learning curve for me. But everyone, and I mean everyone — from writers to camera operators to wardrobe — have made me feel like a million bucks."

"Two and a Half Men" returns for its 11th season on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9:30 p.m. on CBS.
