Prince Harry, Girlfriend Cressida Bonas Wedding Announcement Will Be Made This Year By Kensington Palace? An Engagement Could Come ‘Any Day’ Now, Sources Claim

Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas may have a wedding announced by Kensington Palace this year, The Daily Mail reports.

Prince Harry, 28, is planning on proposing to his girlfriend Cressida Bonas, 24, a dance student. According to The Daily Mail, their relationship have become more serious and they may announce their engagement and a spring wedding by the end of the year.

Prince Harry sparked rumors earlier this month when he and Cressida Bonas reportedly went on a romantic African safari in Botswana. This trip was very similar to the one his brother Prince William took with Kate Middleton in October 2010, which is when he proposed to the Duchess of Cambridge in Kenya.

The Daily Star Sunday quoted sources who said Prince Harry has joked in private that a proposal could be made "any day" now, The Daily Mail writes.

"The way it's looking now, people close to Harry and Cressida predict an engagement by the end of the year and a spring wedding," a source told the newspaper.

"Cressida is The One. People have heard Harry talking about how special Cress is and about getting engaged," the source continued.

According to The Daily Star Sunday, Kensington Palace and security teams are preparing for an engagement announcement, The Daily Mail reports.

The Africa trip that Prince Harry and Cressida took included a visit to Angola to see his mother's, Princess Diana's, land mine charity work.

The trip was kept secret by Kensington Palace, until it leaked on Twitter, USA Today reports. The palace was later forced to release a statement on the visit, and called it "private and personal," USA Today reports. We previously reported that Harry was also joined by his cousin Princess Eugenie and her boyfriend.

Despite the speculation, Prince Harry nor Cressida has confirmed that they went on an African safari together, USA Today reports.

The Daily Mail notes that a spokesman for Kensington Palace said it was a private matter and declined to comment.
