Eminem’s new album 2013 won’t be out until he puts the final touches, but Slim Shady brought the singer Dido onstage last night when he headlined Britain's Reading Festival.

Eminem topped the festival the night after Green Day’s Friday night performance. Eminem’s new album 2013 opened the show. Eminem rocked the house with his new single from the upcoming album, “Survival,” before he played hits like “Lose Yourself” and “The Way I Am.”

Eminem started the show 20 minutes late and asked the crowd, "Why do I say all the fucked up things I say? Maybe it's because I want to piss people off, or maybe it's because..." and then launched into 'Don't Give A Fuck'. Eminem told the fans "I feel like I'm not even working right now, just having fun. I think this is the loudest crowd we've ever had - I'm not joking."

Eminem pulled Dido onstage, unannounced, to perform the hit “Stan,” which sampled the Dido song “Thank You.” When Eminem and Dido kicked into 'Stan' it sparked the first massive singalong of the night. When Eminem rapped the line, "I got your name tattooed on my chest," he lifted his T-shirt to the crowed.

After the song was over Eminem told his fans, "Make some noise for Dido, y'all!"

With a joined by an eight-piece band and hype man Mr. Porter behind him, Eminem closed the festival with a medley of three of his biggest hits, “My Name Is,” “The Real Slim Shady” and “Without Me.”
Eminem is set to repeat the set in Leeds tonight.

Eminem and Dido collaborated on Eminem’s Number One single from 2001, ‘Stan’. Dido’s fourth studio album “Girl Who Got Away” came out earlier this year.

Before the show Dido tweeted a photo she took with Eminem with the caption “Meeting up with an old friend tonight... #excited”.

Halfway through the show, Mr. Porter gave a shout out to one overheated girl in the audience and asked the crowd, "How many people are as fucked up as this girl right now?"

Eminem jumped right in with "Obviously, Reading, I can't get fucked up with you all. I know that's fucked up. But can I take you back to when I did get fucked up?"

Eminem joked "I just realized we haven't talked to the ladies all night. Are there any ladies at Reading? Ladies, I want to ask you a fucking question tonight. How many of you have ever been in a relationship like this?" Before he cut loose with “Love The Way You Lie.”

The last Eminem song was “Lose Yourself,” from the soundtrack to the movie “8 Mile.”

This was Eminem’s first appearance at the Reading festival since 2001.
