At the 2013 VMAs, Austin Mahone's red carpet arrival caused quite a stir on Twitter, with many suggesting that he had fully transformed into a younger Justin Bieber. Austin is nominated for an award at tonight's MTV Video Music Awards 2013, and will perform at the VMAs.

When Austin Mahone, the "What About Love" singer, showed up on MTV at the VMA Pre-Show Live, Twitter users took the opportunity to tease Austin, who many refer to as "Baby Bieber."

Twitter user Bryan Gibbs wrote: "dear lord no, austin mahone is a younger bieber. NOOOOO #vmas"

"Are you guys sure this Austin guy isn't really JB like three years ago?  #VMAs," @DrnkGrlConfess tweeted.

"So... Austin Mahone ISN'T the same thing as Justin Bieber? Could have fooled me. #VMAreact #VMAs #VMFugs," @fuggirls wrote.

User Katie Hindley tweeted: "oh looky the new Biebs #vmas"

Even Hollywood Life described 17-year-old Austin as looking "just like a young Justin Bieber in an all black ensemble."

Bieber is 19-years-old and will also make an appearance at the 2013 VMAs.

Austin showed up with his brown hair swept across his forehead and to the side, a la Bieber, as well as wearing a black blazer with red trim, black pants, and matching shoes.

According to SheKnows.com, Mahone is nominated for the "Artist to Watch" award at the MTV Video Music Awards, and fans, who call themselves "Mahomies," are very excited for his performance on tonight's VMAs.
