Upcoming Android Phones 2013: Motorola Unveils Moto X Developer Edition, To Be Released Soon

For American company Motorola, the climb to the top of the smartphone world may be steep, but their at least their innovations are leading them into the right direction.

And one way to cement they're status as one of the 'emerging powers' in the industry is the announcement and inevitable release of its Moto X Developer Edition. A few days ago, the manufacturer unveiled its upcoming model in its official website, sparking interest among Android lovers.

According to recent rumors, the new phone will have the words 'Developer Model' either printed or inscribed on its back. Reports also say the Moto X will come with 32GB of internal storage. The description of the smartphone also says that it will come with an 'unlockable bootloader' which is great news for developers and users who want to take total control of their devices.

However, Motorola also gave a fair warning that unlocking the bootloader would void the device's warranty.

While the website did not include a specific release date for the device, the Motorola Moto X is already available to order from AT&T. Other major carriers will soon include the new Android phone in their list of offered devices.

According to website Android Authority, they are expecting the new smartphone to be priced around $630 for an off-contract purchase.
