Thanks to the success of "The Expendables" franchise, director Simon West is reportedly ready to make an all-female "Expendables" movie, and rumors are already flying regarding the team make-up of such a film.

According to Screen Rant, West wants to take Sylvester Stallone's take on the male action star trope, and turn it upside down for the female screen hero.

Granted, "The Expandables 2" already featured a female action character in the form of Yu Nan, but doing a female "Expandables" movie can open the door for many big female action star names to join the franchise.

Reportedly, "several prominent actresses affiliated with the action genre" are said to be in early negotiations.

The most recent announcement is actress Sharni Vinson ("You're Next"), a relatively unknown actress, who appears to be joining the female "Expandables" cast.

Sharni Vinson will join Gina Carano and Katee Sackhoff as the actresses confirmed for the female "Expandables" movie, tentatively titled as "ExpendaBelles."

Other rumored actresses, either through sources or fan picks, include Helen Mirren, Michelle Yeoh, Michelle Rodriguez, Zhang Ziyi, Milla Jovovich, Lucy Lawless, and Sigourney Weaver.
