Selena Gomez revealed to E! News that she has a crush on actor George Clooney, leaving fans wondering about his role in her on-off love affair with Justin Bieber.

Although Selena Gomez has mentioned that she is single and that she prefers it that way, the "Come and Get It" singer has made headlines for her public signs of affection for Justin Bieber.

But George Clooney isn't the only person Justin Bieber might need to keep an eye on.

Romeo, one of Justin Bieber's closest friends, wants to date his friend's ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

When asked what he wanted for his birthday on Monday, the rapper had just one wish. He said:

"How about a hot date with Selena Gomez?" PerezHilton.com reports. "Selena, she's like the girl version of me, man. She's amazing."

Selena Gomez's parents sat her down after her 21st birthday party and staged a Justin Bieber-intervention, telling her that if he didn't get out of her life, they would, HollywoodLife reports.

"They told her this was the last straw," a source reportedly told Life & Style. "They told her Justin was a really bad person. They said she has to rid him from her life, otherwise they can't be a part of her life - her new baby sister included."

Selena was reportedly devastated - understandably - by the intervention and the fact that she was put in a position where she had to choose between her family and her first love, HollywoodLife also reports.
