iOS 7 release date may be set for September, specifically during an Apple event fixed to happen next month.

A marketing email was sent by Nuance, a voice recognition software firm, and the business behind Siri, suggesting an iOS 7 release date, which is set to happen on September 10. The email, noted by Williams, as reported by The Next Web, reads, "As you are probably aware, iOS 7 GA will be released on September 10^th."

The email further states, "The NDEV Program has pre-qualified that SpeechKit 1.4.5 works properly on iOS 7, but we encourage you to conduct your own testing to ensure that went the upgrade happens, your Nuance speech services continue to work seamlessly..."

This hint about iOS 7 release date will most definitely excite the fans, but as the post suggested, Nuance "is unlikely to have inside information about Apple's movements" and it may only be basing its assumptions on earlier reports claiming that the next-generation iPhone will have grand unveiling on September 10.

Morever, iOS 7 release date is expected to align with the forthcoming launching of the new iPhone, which may come in the form of iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C. However, the iOS 7 release date for the public may not likely happen during the same day as the alleged media event set for September 10. A Twitter post from Matthew Panzarino suggested that Nuance may incorrectly be referring to iOS 7 GM release instead of a GA or a general availability launch.

Considering the OS release last year, iOS 7 release date of the GM (the last developer's build) will arrive on September 10, while the GA release will be on September 18.

If last year's schedule follows, iOS 7 GM (the last developer build) will be on Sept 10, and GA (general availability) for everyone Sept 18

Update: According to a tweet from Steve T-S (‏@stroughtonsmith) , the email mentioning the iOS 7 release date (GA) was removed. It reads, "LOL, Nuance has removed the view-on-web version of their e-mail mentioning the iOS 7 GA date"
