“Survival,” Eminem’s first single off his upcoming album, “Marshall Mathers LP 2,” is already up on Slim Shady’s site. Eminem’s “Survival” was released as part of the trailer for the new video game, “Call of Duty: Ghosts.” “Berzerk,” Eminem’s second single was produced by the legendary producer, Rick Rubin. Eminem’s new album, “Marshall Mathers LP2, will be produced by Rick Rubin and the rapper Dr. Dre.

The MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMAs) played a commercial for Beats By Dre headphones which featured Eminem and also promoted “Marshall Mathers LP 2.” Eminem announced the name and released date of his upcoming eight album, “Marshall Mathers LP 2” at the MTV VMAs.

Eminem’s official site teases that the new album will be out November 5. The site calls the release "MMLP2.”

A representative for Interscope records confirmed that the album's formal title is "The Marshall Mathers LP 2." "Berzerk" went on sale on iTunes at a minute after midnight today.
The song was produced by Rick Rubin. The legendary Rick Rubin produced the entire album with Dr. Dre.

Rick Rubin recently took on the late-stage production for Kanye West’s “Yeezus.” Eminem’s “Berzerk” is a mix of raw sounds over a sample of Billy Squier. Eminem’s “Berzerk” draws from the styles and beats of Beastie Boys.

Eminem put out the single “Survival” two weeks ago.

Eminem, released his first album, “Infinite,” in 1996. Eminem followed that with “The Marshall Mathers LP” and “The Eminem Show.” Eminem put out his seventh studio album, “Recovery,” in 2010. It debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. Eminem’s “Recovery” won the Best Rap Album Grammy that. Eminem’s “Recovery” was also nominated for a Best Album Grammy Award.

Slim Shady won 13 Grammy Awards. Eminem also won a Best Original Song Oscar at the Academy Awards for his hit from his 2002 film “8 Mile,” called “Lose Yourself.”

“Berzerk,” Eminem’s new trackis a party anthem. It opens with a plea to “Take your shoes off, let your hair down, go berserk all night long.” The rapper then continues: “We’re gonna rock this house until we knock it down, so turn the volume loud” and later “Life’s too short, so now go for broke.”

The Berzerk clip that Eminem put up has him rappng “Let’s take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch/I’m about to bloody this track up, everybody get back/That’s why my pen needs a pad because my rhymes’ on the rag.”

Eminem put a picture up on his Instagram account with the caption: “Guess who’s REALLY back? #VMAs.”
