The scenes from the most recent MTV Video Music Awards 2013 were definitely intense but no one could deny that Drake nailed his performance.

The Canadian rapper initiated the sexy mood by singing "Hold On, We're Going Home" then quickly proceeded to his smash single "Started From The Bottom". The stage was on fire as the performer smoothly delivered his killer moves.

His performance was so steamy that the whole crowd at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York eventually cheered and danced along.

Equally sexy singer Rihanna was a part of that crowd. During the performance, the camera panned to the "Diamonds" singer who was clearly enjoying the night away despite appearing composed. The male singer even sat directly in front of her.

This simple yet meaningful stint intensifies the rumors that the two have reunited after the female recording artist's turbulent relationship with Chris Brown.

It's unclear whether Rihanna is interested with the performer or if she merely wants to get back at her ex-boyfriend. In 2012, the two boys were caught in an NYC club fight after Drake teased Brown about his sultry experience with his then girlfriend.

RiRi and Drizzy, who both share a hook-up history, were spotted together at the Dream Downtown hotel for Jay Z and Diddy's VMA after-party. "All the people inside were talking about them hanging together inside," one insider tells Hollywood Life.
